How to Use
CoC Medals Calculator helps you plan your spending for Clan War League (CWL) Medals and Event Medals. Everything runs locally in your browser — there's no login and no connection to your Supercell account. The calculator provides real-time updates as you build your shopping cart, showing exactly how many medals you'll have remaining after each purchase.
- Select CWL Medals or Event Medals at the top. Each medal type has its own store with different items and pricing.
- Enter how many medals you currently have in the input field. This is your starting budget for planning purposes.
- Tap items in the Store to add them to your cart. The Remaining total updates instantly, so you can see your budget in real-time.
- Use the Cart section to remove items (or add one more if you still have medals and stock available). The cart shows quantities and total costs.
- Optional: press Optimize for gems to auto-fill your remaining medals with the best gem sell-value items. This feature helps maximize your gem return if you plan to sell items in-game.
- Use Reset All to start over with a clean slate whenever you want to try a different spending strategy.
Remember that store items have stock limits during events, and some items may only be available once per event. The calculator respects these limits and will prevent you from adding more items than are available. You can toggle unlimited stock mode for testing purposes, but this doesn't reflect actual in-game availability. Always double-check item availability in-game before making your final purchases.
Optimization Strategy Guide
Medals are limited and valuable resources — so it helps to pick a goal first. Here are two common approaches that players use:
- Progress-focused spending: buy the item that saves you the most time for your current plan. For example, if you have a specific upgrade in mind, prioritize Hammers or Books that will help you complete that upgrade faster. This approach is best when you have clear upgrade goals and want to maximize your account progression speed.
- Gem-focused spending: if you plan to sell items for gems in-game, use the Optimize for gems button to maximize total gem sell value within your remaining medal budget. This strategy is useful when you need gems for other purposes, such as purchasing builder potions, training potions, or speeding up upgrades.
The gem optimizer only considers items with a known, non-zero in-game sell value; cosmetics or non-sellable items are treated as 0 gems. It respects store stock limits and will never remove items you already added — it only suggests additions to fill your remaining budget. Consider your play style when choosing a strategy: progress-focused spending works best for active upgraders, while gem-focused spending offers more flexibility.
Hero Equipment Upgrade Calculator
The Hero Equipment Upgrade Calculator helps you plan your hero equipment upgrades efficiently. Hero equipment has become a crucial part of Clash of Clans strategy, with different equipment types offering unique abilities and stat boosts for your heroes. Equipment requires three types of ores: Shiny Ore, Glowy Ore, and Starry Ore. Common equipment can be upgraded to level 18, while epic equipment can reach level 27. Costs increase significantly at higher levels, especially for epic equipment which requires Starry Ore starting at level 9.
To use the calculator, select whether you're upgrading common or epic equipment using the radio buttons, then enter your current level in the "From Level" field and your desired target level in the "To Level" field. The calculator instantly displays the total amount of each ore type needed, including Shiny Ore, Glowy Ore, and Starry Ore (if applicable). This tool is invaluable for planning your ore collection strategy — by knowing exactly how many ores you need, you can prioritize which equipment to upgrade first based on your available resources.
The calculator accounts for all level requirements automatically, so you don't need to manually add up costs from multiple levels. It's particularly useful for epic equipment upgrades where Starry Ore requirements can be substantial at higher levels. Planning ahead with this tool helps you avoid wasting ores on partial upgrades and ensures you have enough resources to complete your equipment upgrades when you start them.
